A new and sophisticated electronic engine remote control for throttle and shifting was launched by (STEYR MOTORS GMBH

This new SEC is a perfect addition of STEYR MOTORS options and offers a complete propulsion system solution for every application with STEYR Marine Diesel engines.

The ergonomic designed levers and remote control box, with integrated trim function provide a very easy, precise and comfortable engine control.

This new SEC fulfils all technical requirements like waterproofed according IP67, shock resistant and UV resistant, automatically RPM engine synchronisation for twin installation.

It is available for single and twin installation and as well for fly bridge.

The SEC has a direct input to the engine control unit and into the electronic control box of the transmission (optionally with low speed mode). No further unreliable shifting and throttle cables are necessary anymore. All difficult and problematic installations are history now.

It is an easy and simple installation like all other optional equipment of STEYR MOTORS and works just “PLUG and GO”
